Method
- Weigh the cheese and onion pasty mix into a bowl, add cold water and mix well.
- Allow to hydrate for 15-30 minutes.
- Fill into suitable pastry shells, crimp edges together and glaze using Lucas Pastry glaze p/n 62564. This should be done prior to and again 5 minutes before the end of baking.
- Bake at 400°F/200°C/gas mark 6, until an internal temperature of 72°C is reached.
Note: If you wish you can add some extra cheese or add other fresh ingredients, broccoli, mushrooms, bacon etc
